What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a tiny metal screw that is embedded into the jawbone. It acts as a ‘root’ for the replacement tooth. The implant is made out of titanium, which has been proven to fully integrate into the bone.
Once the implant area has healed, an abutment is attached to the implant, and a crown is fitted to fill the gap.

What is the All on 4/All on 6 system?
In simple terms, this advanced system enables a number of implants to be placed in the mouth at once so that patients can enjoy a new set of crowns (or replacement teeth) after just one procedure.
Although the first set of crowns that are fitted to the implants is temporary, once the mouth has had time to heal, a full and permanent set of crowns will be affixed to the implants to complete the procedure.
This process requires intricate planning and assessment before we begin. The quality of the jawbone will also be assessed to ensure it is strong enough to hold the implants.
All on 4 and All on 6 are truly an example of life-changing dentistry and can also be used to help patients who require jaw reconstruction. The treatment gives you your smile back, making sure it looks and feels just natural.
Implant-Retained Dentures

After walking past this place more times than I can count, I finally popped in for teeth whitening consultation. And I’m so glad I did. Finding a dentist you can trust and put your faith in can be a difficult thing. But Luke has been my dentist for around ten years now from when he first qualified through to being one of the best in his field as he now undoubtedly is. That’s why I had no hesitation following him when he left my local dentist in Welling to set up his own practice in Pontoon Dock. The distance I now have to travel is worth it for the first class care that Luke and his team provide. From the moment you walk in through the door you are greeted by the ever helpful and smiley dental nurse Laura through to all the other staff like practice manager Kimberley, Alex one of the other qualified dentists at the practice and all the other dental nurses. My dental health has never been better and that’s down to Luke and his team.
I had veneers done at this practice and the results exceeded my expectations. The dentist Dr. Luke, was meticulous and very experienced, and the receptionist coordinator Laura made the whole process smooth and reassuring as I was extremely nervous placing veneers over my teeth. They listened carefully to what I wanted and they made sure to deliver me what I asked for, and now I have a smile that looks natural and suits my face perfectly. I’m extremely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend this practice. I am in the customer service industry and all of my clients have said that my teeth have changed my look.
